Squire’s Topiary is a conversational garden scene that evolved from a block-printed pattern in our archive. This original ‘Squire’s Garden’ design featuring peacocks, doves and a dovecot in a parterre was based on an embroidered bed quilt created by C.F.A. Voysey in 1896. Printed on a rotary ground, this wallpaper features peacocks and trees adapted into a refined repeat — the colorways are playfully rendered in variations of gold and metallic undertones.
