A Weave Between Two Thorns
Blackthorn, designed as a wallpaper by J.H. Dearle in 1892, was first adapted for machine-printed fabric in 1975 by Sanderson. Now, 50 years later, Blackthorn Weave reveals a richly woven design for the outdoors. The weave texture, intricate and piquing interest, plays with differing levels of color. The ribbed quality in the flowerheads adds texture to the blooms and variation between floral display and calming leaves. Here, you’ll find rich, archival colors that meet with softer, hazy hues for a new telling of the compelling Blackthorn story.
The Mighty Acorn
Taking on a character of its own, Acorn has captivated Arts & Crafts appreciators since 1879, delighting design eyes with these perfectly cupped fruits of the oak tree. This weave is an interpretation of William Morris's original Acorn wallpaper, the embodiment of an English hedgerow, sweet and simplistic.
