The joy of mixing pattern

Jess Daines (@mrsjessdaines) confidently explored pattern mixing in her home, celebrating the combination of Bloomsbury Stripe, Elm Stripe, Pimlico Stripe, Oak & Blossom Weave and Hanover Check, alongside richly coloured wallpaper. Her approach shows how cushions offer a simple starting point for experimentation, small, interchangeable and full of personality.

Using made to measure blinds and curtains, Jess extends this concept beyond soft furnishings. A Roman blind in Pimlico Stripe (Ochre and Crimson) and pinch pleat curtains in Elm Stripe (Apricot and Linen) echo the tones found in her cushions, creating a cohesive yet dynamic look throughout the room.
