Concentrating on the stylised elements of the central motifs, Persian Scroll is an exceptional embroidery, crafted using a dissolvable thread to resist dye in some areas. Each colour catches differently across the stitching, creating pools of pigment, and the ground has a subtle texture. This particular dye technique feels aged, lived in and like an artefact for the modern home. This intricate level of work has made a fabric full of depth and interest. Due to the overdye process, a unique finish is created, meaning subtle differences from batch to batch.

CONSIDERED CONSTRUCTION

Each product is carefully constructed and finished according to its individual requirements. For example, curtains feature hand sewn side seams and a generous 10 x 10 cm double bottom hem for a refined, weighted hang, with precise pattern matching and careful hand-sewn finishing included as standard.

PERFECT DRAPE & SHAPE

Our curtains feature discreet internal pockets for curtain weights, helping the fabric hang beautifully and maintain its shape over time.
